Teece Family Vineyards is the brainchild of David & Leigh Teece, inspired by her idea to make wine in the country of her husband’s birth. David was born in Marlborough and studied at the University of Canterbury. He has since carved a noteworthy international career as scholar and entrepreneur. He is a chaired professor at the University of California, Berkeley. Leigh is a native Californian, but maintains close ties with New Zealand with regular family holidays, as well as the family’s other interests.
