A central feature of our vineyard is the gully and waterway that runs through the middle, between the tablelands. Smaller catchments feed into this gully, giving the vineyard its distinctive patchwork appearance.
In typical style, we saw this gully as an opportunity rather than an impediment. Amid the vineyard and other agricultural development around it, we will retain the gully as a natural wetland, a habitat for indigenous plants and waterfowl. A raised boardwalk along part of the waterway will give visitors the opportunity to enjoy this gorgeous natural feature close up.
